Type: One way (out and back is 16.6 miles)
Difficulty: 3 of 10.
Total score: 10 of 10.

Terrain – pinelands, swamps, old cranberry bogs

Trailheads – Apple Pie Hill – 39° 48.442’N, 74° 35.365’W.  Not 100% sure where the other one is on Rt 72, it’s tricky to find.

White Trail – Franklin Parker Preserve – Chatsworth, Burlington County, NJ
Distance: 3 miles (officially), 3.6 miles by our GPS with only one very short side trip to the viewing tower.
Type: Loop trail
Difficulty: 2 of 10 – easy walking, but very exposed to the sun, so be prepared!  Also watch out for ticks!
Total score: 7 of 10.

Terrain – pine forests, swamps, but mostly old cranberry bogs

Trailheads – Speedwell Trailhead –  39° 46.737’N,  74° 32.493’W

Red Trail – Parker Preserve – Chatsworth, NJ


Red Trail – Franklin Parker Preserve – Woodland Township (Chatsworth), Burlington County, NJ
Distance –  6 miles total (maybe a bit over since there is a short detour onto the Green Trail where beavers have flooded the trail that we missed and had to backtrack to)
Type – Loop
Difficulty:  4 of 10 – hills, flooding, wind, and cold.  Probably only a 3 if it was warmer.
Total score: 9 of 10
